How hard would a double major in physical education and athletic training be?

Hi, Im going to college next year and I really want to be an athletic trainer in a high school. Many high schools want an athletic trainer to teach a few courses too. So, I decided to teach P.E. as well. I was wondering if this is a bad decision because it’s too hard or if I should pursue just one career. Thank You.

That sounds like a plan- both majors should work well together given you should be able to take a single class and have it count for major requirements in both majors.

Most colleges will not allow any education major to double major. It will take you longer than 4 years to do a double major with one major being an education. You will need to do your student teaching and that takes up one whole semester.
