Is it weird to wear an athletic swimsuit to a beach in Europe?

I am going to a beach in Europe with friends, but I only brought my athletic speedo swimsuit (for females) because I’ve "outgrown" my other beach swimsuit. Is it weird to wear an athletic (black) swimsuit to the beach?

I would think so
the women in Europe don’t wear bathing suits like that, and they arent as modest

but do whatever makes you comfortable :)

No actually a lot of people may be playing sports like volley ball

so you probably should bring it.

Europeans are not as into fashion as Americans.

So remember when in Europe do as the Europeans do.

    Have fun!

Yes, it would be weird. Anywhere I have been to the beach in Europe (Spain, Italy, France, Greece) they wear little bikinis, and often if not always topless.

On the other hand, if you are just going to a typical non-resort family beach, they are not at all concerned with fashion or appearance. You’ll see people wearing all sorts of things that probably don’t even count as swimsuits.
