How do our social interactions correspond to athletic competitions, and how do they differ? How does the difference affect our sense of what is fair and unfair about the rules of social interaction?
Just to let people know that this is for research pruposes only. Not my homework. I have a test on Wenesday and this is simply to advance my knowledge when it comes to this issue. Thanks.
well every social situation people find themselve in has to do with some type of competition…because everyone’s judging sstatusquo, athletic build, posture, rresemblance ect well in sports people are playing…where in life people are dog-e-dog…or they only care about themselves…most sports require teams…but theres many sports witch don’t require team…and in those types of sports you see alittle more greed…and in games theres set rules or even a sport you have set rules…in society theres rules…but people twist the rules to there advantage…(more offen then in sports…)reason being theres officials watching you at all times in a athletic event..where in life you only have the eyes of others..and a few authoritive figures as welll..it’s kinda hard.. because life is pretty mucha never ending athletic event…lolyour quetions kinda contradicts it’s self…
How do student athletes who has an athletic scholarship to a college apply to that college?
I have an athletic scholarship to a d1 university and do not know how to apply
Call the college’s admissions office, and make an appointment. If you can’t do that, ask them for specific enrollment instructions. If you can’t reach anybody, go to the school’s website, do a search for enrollment or registration, and look for the online instructions for enrollment. You should be able to apply to the school online, or might be able to print out an application from their website. Once accepted, make sure to submit your scholarship information to your financial aid office right away, and then register for classes.

How athletic are humans compared to other animals?
As far as ATHLETIC traits go compared to body size. Strength, speed, agility, endurance, etc.
When compared to other animals, how do us humans rank, athletically?
Probably under average. A chimpanzee is smaller than an average human, but is 3-4 times stronger than an average human.
Humans can climb, but in a climbing race against an animal such as an orangutan, we’d be put to shame.
In a foot race against most animals, we’d be put to shame, even against extremely large animals. I think the VERY top speed for a human is about 30 mph. The fastest land animal, the cheetah, has been recorded at nearly 70 mph. Gorillas can run at around the same speed as humans, but also outweigh us by a few hundred pounds, on average. That’s very impressive.
The world’s highest vertical leap is somewhere around 43"-44". A mountain lion can leap up to 20 feet from standing.
A wolf can run for several hours at the speed of 8 mph. Can you do that?
Oh, and a human can exert about 100-150 lbs of pressure through a bite. An equal sized dog can bite over 300 lbs of pressure. Large dogs like Mastiffs can exert over 500 lbs of pressure.

How does someone contact an athletic trainer for a professional sports team?
I am doing a project on becoming an athletic trainer, and I have to have an interview with an athletic trainer. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could provide me with an email or phone number of an athletic trainer to ask them some questions. Thanks.
Your initial request for an email address or phone number of an athletic trainer for a professional sports team is not likely to be fulfilled due to privacy issues. However, universities tend to publish information about departments, etc. that is likely to be public.
Why don’t you search "Athletic Trainer" or "Exercise Science" programs in the United States – to find out where athletic trainers are educated. Usually there are email addresses and phone numbers for the members of academic departments. You could then email or otherwise contact someone in the department to arrange an interview.
With a little additional searching, you may be able to find specific contact information of athletic trainers that work with professional sports teams. However, college and graduate students who are still in their athletic training careers might be more willing to talk with you.
Good luck.

What would be the best adhesive to glue a sole back on an athletic shoe?
The last several pairs of athletic shoes I’ve purchased, the back sole separates from the shoe after wearing for a few weeks. I’ve tried rubber cement, fixture adhesive and silicone caulk. None of these work. Any suggestions?
The best glue is something called "Goop" Make sure you clean the rubber parts with a solvent. An alcohol will work, but so will something stronger like acetone (don’t use too much or your shoe will dissolve). Clamp the parts together for 24 hours – a regular clamp is best but a couple of boards wrapped together with rope will work too.
Who is the most athletic white player in the NFL?
I was just wondering what y’all think about who the most athletic white player in the NFL is. There is so much talk about who is the most athletic white person in the NBA so I thought I’d ask this question. Personally, I think Matt Jones of the Jacksonville Jaguars but it’s a tough one. Thanks!
I know this will not be the most popular answer, but i would have to say that the most athletic white player in the NFL is Mike Furrey of the Detroit Lions. He was the starting safety for the St. Louis Rams last year, and his transition yielded 98 receptions 5 less than the NFL leader, had over 1,000 yards receiving, and had 6 touchdowns without missing a game. I would say that Urlacher is a close second though.
