The Health Club – Fire Damage
A lively debate ensued between Reggie Cervantes, a 9/11 survivor and protesters against a public health care option outside of OK Senator Jim Inhofe’s office. At one point the guy in the white shirt, named Al Gerhart begins yelling at Ms. Cervantes telling her her health conditions are her problem and that she’s responsible for taking care of her kids. This video just shows the absolute ignorance, selfishness, and judgment that is cast by those who believe health care is a commodity, not a right. Keep fighting Reggie. We will, in honor of you and all those who believe that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is just that a right, that is not just for those who can afford it!
